Mega Evolution (MODERN POKéMON worlds)
- Mega Stones are easier to find. Every stone now lies out in the open, never on a sea rock, between trees or under a bridge. Stones at sea sparkle on open water, so you can Surf right up to them.
- Pokémon that Mega Evolve also learn their Legends: Z-A moves now, all 87 of them. They learn them by leveling up, by TM or from the move tutors, including the Pokémon Center's tutor. For example:
- Meganium gets Disarming Voice and Dazzling Gleam
- Chimecho gets Flash Cannon and Magnet Bomb
- Pinsir gets Aerial Ace and Dual Wingbeat.
- Mega Meganium's Solar Beam no longer hits itself when both foes are already down in a double battle. It fails, as it should.
Pokédex
- The Pokédex no longer lags when you hold a direction or scroll fast. While the cursor is moving, the page fills in the Pokémon you stop on.
Pause menu
- The pause menu has a new SUPPORT button, just above EXIT, that opens the game's Ko-fi page in your browser. Its help line says that $5 a month gets a Discord role and a calling card.
Online
- Trainers' names over their heads, in lists and in party messages show the username they claimed.
