I’ll read these myself and DM you on Discord if I’d like to offer you a trial. Your answers are stored privately when you submit. Please don’t send your real name, address, passwords, or ID. Closing or refreshing this page may lose what you’ve written. The form uses a one-way network identifier to limit spam; your IP address isn’t saved with your application. DM me if you want to withdraw or have your answers deleted.

01 About you Discord username

Use your username rather than your display name so I can find you. Make sure you’ve joined the Discord and can receive DMs.

Time zone and usual availability How much time could you realistically volunteer each week? What makes you want to help mod the Platinum Together Discord? Have you been a mod anywhere before?

Tell me a little about it if you have. It’s fine if this would be your first time.

02 What would you do?

These are the kinds of things you might run into. Walk me through how you’d handle them, including when you’d ask me for help.

A new member is confused about beta access or the rules. How would you welcome and help them? Two members start insulting each other in public. What would you do? A moderation ticket reports harassment, but the details are unclear. How would you handle it? A friend breaks a rule and asks you to ignore it. How would you respond? Someone says your mod decision was unfair in chat. How would you respond? A ticket involves a complaint about another staff member. How would you handle the report? What would you do if you realized you had made an incorrect moderation decision?

04 Before you apply I understand this is a completely voluntary, unpaid position, with no promised or guaranteed compensation. I understand my duties include Discord moderation, welcoming new users, and handling moderation tickets. I understand there is a two-week trial and a permanent role is not guaranteed. I agree to apply rules fairly, protect member privacy, and use staff permissions responsibly. I understand I can step down, and the owner may end my trial or remove my staff permissions.
